I saw myself trying to drive down a road, but it had very deep old ruts in it, so deep that I could not steer my wheels out of them and I was forced to follow the ruts.

 

Then I heard God ask me, "will you let me help you?” I gratefully said 'Yes Please’.

 

Then I saw Jesus coming down the road, driving a large steam roller, and he completely flattened out all of the ruts so that I could steer where I wanted to go.

 

I felt God say that we are stuck in ruts in our life, sins, habits, behaviours, problems, hopeless situations and wrong thinking and we cannot break free in our own strength but must ask God to remove the ruts completely and make our paths new - only God can do this in the Power of his Holy Spirit and with our obedience; particularly the rutted paths of our wrong thinking which we must renew through reading, believing and obeying His word (The Bible).
