The page
I see a picture of a notebook and a page there, and some of you are looking at that page and it shows your life. On this page is written the things you have done, how you have done and where you have been. In the middle of this page there are scrawls and mistakes and you have had to restart some sentences and for some of you there are a few small blots. But for some of you there some major blotches and blots and you are not able to turn the page over because you are fixed upon these big blots in your life. I feel God would say to you that he is the God of the new start, he is the God of renewal, he is the God who meets you in your old life and turns it into a new life. He is the one who forgives and can help you to forgive.
I feel that some people are coming to the end of a page and it’s not necessarily because of the blots but you are really frightened about turning the page because there is a new challenge for you. At this time of year that can be an appropriate word as people are thinking about university, college, starting a new school or returning to work - but God wants you to turn the new page. On this new page I see an outline of a hand, it is Gods hand and I feel that God wants all of you who are worried about the next page, stage, season or something different, that he is ahead of you, his hand goes ahead of you, he will care for you, he will provide for you. Don’t be afraid, he has gone ahead of you and he will be your strength, your Father, and your comfort in all of it.
