The Beta Course
The Beta Course is a 10 week long course which helps people to build strong Christian foundations.
"Beta" is the second letter of the Greek alphabet, just as "Alpha" is the first letter. Therefore many of those who do the Beta Course are "graduates" from Alpha, although some do the Beta Course without doing the Alpha Course first. Beta is aimed at young Christians who need help to grow into full Christian maturity, but it can also be a very helpful course for people who are almost at a point of faith but who need help to respond to the Gospel.
The Beta Course runs on a series of Thursday evenings and one Saturday. Each session begins with a free Caffe Nero coffee and muffin, followed by a talk on one of key foundations of the Christian life. Course participants then discuss the talk and any other difficult questions of their own in small groups. Two helpers from the church facilitate the discussion, and they are there to help and mentor Beta guests as they start their Christian life.
The next course begins at 7:30pm on Thursday 8th April at Caffe Nero.
