Serving Those In Need

Jesus spent most of his ministry serving the needs of those around him and not his own needs. In fact, he said in Mark 10:46 that "the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve." As followers of Jesus, we have a calling and a passion to serve those around us and to love our neighbour as ourselves.

We have many serving ministries as a church which aim to help people both inside and outside of the church to find practical help and support. It's not appropriate to give details of all of them on this website, but four key areas where church members serve those in need are the free Way-In lunch every Friday, the Debtscape service, and the Bereavement Support Group.

Have a look round and see some of what is happening. If you are  a church member then perhaps God is calling you to show his love to people in one of these practical ways.
